Are you struggling to find that last minute gift idea for your friends, family, or co-worker? Have a white elephant party to attend and want to bring the coolest gift but stay within the budget? Here are a few gift ideas that are unique, actually useful, and relatively inexpensive that might be what you are looking for!
To be clear, I haven't personally used all of these products and I am not endorsing their quality. Also, DOCUmation is not receiving anything for promoting these products. I just know you all are busy people, and I hope this might help you lighten your load.
PopSocket – $10
This is the cool little device is a collapsible stand that you can use to prop up your phone or table for use when you are on the road.
This would be a great gift for the parents of kids. You know when you hand your kid your phone in the restaurant so you can get 10 minutes of peace and quiet to eat your dinner, but it keeps sliding down the salt shaker? Problem solved.
This little gem is versatile, comes in a bunch of designs or you can upload your own image to personalize it. Click here for the PopSocket website.
Tiny Drone – $15
I do have one of these. These tiny drones are SO MUCH FUN! They are cheap, and a quick distraction from a stressful workday. The best part is the battery only lasts 4 minutes so it can't be too distracting. It takes about 20 minutes to recharge.
Be nice and give one to your favorite IT guy for keeping you up and running all year! They are available everywhere. Here is the link for Toys-R-Us.
Amazon Fire Stick – $40
A co-worker purchased the Amazon Firestick for me last year. I am a big fan of Amazon after getting this little gem. I never watch TV in real time. Everything I watch these days is OnDemand.
The Amazon Fire stick allowed me to cut my cable package to just internet service and only pay for the programming I watch. You can also download fun little games which my kids love. One caveat is you need an Amazon Prime Account which is about $100 bucks a year, but you get free shipping from Amazon as well as included services like Amazon Music and more! Again, just a fan, not paid to say this! Here is the link to the Fire Stick.
Pick Punch Guitar Pick Maker – $25
So this is a bit of a niche gift because it is for a musician, but I thought this was really cool. Being a guitar player, I am always using (and losing) guitar picks. This tool allows you to use your old gift cards and rewards cards to punch out guitar picks.
Most gifts for musicians tend to be way too expensive for your average person. This is very useful and relatively inexpensive. Here is the link for the site.
Wall Mounted Bottle Opener – $30
The last gift idea I thought I would share is this wall mounted bottle opener with cap catcher. My wife bought this for me personalized with my kids' birthdays on it. I thought it was nice, but didn't really get it...until I used it! It's fabulous.
The opener is mounted next to my fridge, and I NEVER have to look for a bottle opener! It looks nice and it's a one handed operation. Here is the link on Etsy. There are a few different producers of this item so feel free to look around.
