How about a New Day’s Resolution?

Why do New Year’s resolutions almost always fail? They rely on a reset effect; it’s a new year and that moment acts as a catalyst for change. It's motivating. You might keep working towards that goal for a few weeks, but the motivation wanes and eventually you are back at the same status quo.

Why not make a New Day’s Resolution? Spoiler alert - it’s the same resolution everyday.

Today is the only day you have the ability and opportunity to affect. Yesterday is in the history books. Tomorrow is always a day away. Make your resolution every New Day and apply your daily focus to that resolution. If you reapply focus and use each sunrise as your reset effect, your resolution will just become routine instead of just another goal not achieved.
