    UBEO Business Services, the premier provider of business technology products and services, is seeking to hire a Sales Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas.  

    UBEO is a distributor/servicer of document equipment and software solutions.  Primary products include Xerox, Ricoh and Konica Minolta multi-functional equipment and Kyocera printers.  UBEO specializes in electronic document management software and integrations.  

    The primary responsibilities of this position is as follows:

    Department: Sales
    Reports To: Sales Manager/VPGM/VP Sales
    FLSA Status:  Full Time/Exempt

    Purpose
    The primary responsibility for this position is to maintain a sales force in which all sales employees have the capacity to work and produce results at quota level or greater.

    Responsibilities

    • Continuously have 3 month market development plan outlining group activities.
    • Provide upper management with business and /or activity plans and reports as requested.
    • Conduct weekly review sessions to review subordinates planning, goldmine, activity levels and paperwork.
    • Participate in partial and full day ride alongs in the field.
    • Maintain a sales force in which all sales employees have the capacity to work and produce results at quota level or greater.
    • Maintain 100% manpower in all sales territories.
    • Make effective, timely termination decisions.
    • Actively participate in all recruiting and candidate interviewing.
    • Give comprehensive new hire training to all sales reps to include all aspects of the sales rep’s job descriptions. Have a written plan 30-60-90 days.
    • Treat all salespeople fairly and without favoritism or bias.
    • Maintain a professional office environment through proper demeanor, dress and behavior.
    • Support company marketing plan.
    • Run appropriate sales contests and incentives within market and development plan
    • Support company policies and decisions.
    • Conduct quarterly and annual reviews.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
    • Minimum 4+ years of successful management experience, prefer industry specific experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead a team and meet and/or exceed pre-set sales and activity quotas.
    • Proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment

    • Ability to sit at desk for prolonged periods of time.
    • Ability to talk on the phone and work with various computer tools and applications.
    • Ability to type and compose written communication in various forms.
    • Ability to operate a motor vehicle for travel to client sites.
    • Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods at times.
    • Ability to lift 20+lbs on occasion.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
    • Must have a reliable form of transportation.
    • Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is required.
