    UBEO Business Services, the premier provider of business technology products and services, is seeking to hire a VP Strategic Alliances & Supply Chain Management to join our team in Austin, TX.

    UBEO is a distributor/servicer of document equipment and software solutions. Primary products include Xerox, Ricoh, Canon and Konica Minolta multi-functional equipment and Kyocera printers. UBEO specializes in electronic document management software and integrations. 

    The primary responsibilities of this position is as follows:

    Purpose

    Primary responsibility of this position is to lead UBEO’s Vendor relationships, product selection and pricing to include purchasing and supply chain functions and related responsibilities nationally while fostering and creating a customer first culture, providing leadership, operational management, and efficient delivery of all products in the Supply Chain environment.

     



    Responsibilities

    Vendor Relationship Responsibilities

    • Day-to-day management of vendor partnerships and key executive relationships.
    • Negotiate and optimize vendor contracts to provide UBEO with the best contractual KPIs and leverage UBEO’s buying power.  
    • Assist with measuring, tracking, and analyzing supplier performance.
    • Lead product strategy initiatives inclusive of developing and maintaining Best in Class product list for entire company.
    • Manage all vendor websites and portals to ensure compliance and proper alignment of resources. 
    • Coordinate communication of product updates to the field.
    • Ensure and oversee the development and maintenance of accurate inventories.
    • Develop purchasing and logistics process and standards nationally.
    • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain process.
    • Manage inventory and related asset management functions to align with company financial goals.
    • Develop controls and consistency around field pricing nationally.
    • Acquisition due diligence relative to vendor contracts and pricing synergies.
    • Integrate and optimize vendor partnerships with acquired companies. 
    • Develop and implement processes and reporting standards that increase visibility of key operating metrics in the company allowing more timely and effective management decisions while improving asset management ratios.
    • Always ensures that business conducted is of the highest ethical and professional standards. 
    • Leads, motivates and coaches the team, while maintaining a positive attitude and setting an example of professionalism in a demanding, fast-paced business environment. 
    • Maintains positive internal working relationships with all department employees by communicating in a professional manner and by providing constructive feedback.
    • Promotes an environment of integrity and responsibility in the workplace by creating a work environment where they “lead by example”. 

    Supply Chain Responsibilities

    • Responsible for all Supply Chain performance criteria in all regions related to inventory management and distribution. This includes each operating company and branches within the region using data analytics to drive improved performance.
    • Develops and maintains consistent standard operating procedures for all supply chain operations
    • Provides leadership and operational direction to the Supply Chain Management Team in each region.
    • Works with other functions as required to impact financial and performance results in adherence with Region President.
    • Responsible for providing operational leadership which impacts Sales and Service metrics: Delivery Timeframes, Customer satisfaction, and Service efficiency.
    • Responsible for all financial performance: Inventory management and obsolescence.
    • Responsible for maintaining Supply Chain manpower requirements, management span of control & employee turnover. Must create effective recruiting processes to help maintain support levels with the region.
    • Owns workforce transformation for all regions areas and branches managing through retirements and creating an appropriately skilled workforce of the future.
    • Responsible for driving quality and efficiency using technology.
    • Responsible for training and development of all Supply Chain personnel.
    • Creates programs and processes that motivate Supply Chain organization to ensure profitable delivery of goods and services.
    • Responsible for delivery of supply chain functions: delivering equipment, parts and supplies in a cost-efficient manner to both internal and external customers.
    • Responsible for timely efficient machine set up and installation processes for all Region and area teams.
    • Serves as the company sponsor for a wide array of Supply Chain initiatives.
    • As a member of the senior corporate leadership team, contributes to corporate and the regions overall success including Sales, Service and all Operational performance.
    • Participates with corporate and regional leadership to create and administer compensation and rewards systems that drive performance through recognition and compensation strategies.
    • Responsible to make sure business conducted is of the highest ethical and professional standards with a zero tolerance on theft and falsifying of company records.
    • Serves as a role model always maintaining a positive attitude and setting the example for others to follow.
    • Works with others to create and administer policies, procedures, processes, Career path, performance standards review programs, etc.
    • Responsible for all communication to entire supply chain function within including frequent leadership meetings, branch team meetings and employee raps.
    • Works with Region and Area Sales providing equipment reports.
    • Perform other duties/activities that support UBEO and our Sales/Service organization.

    • Proficient in all MS Office products - Word, Excel, Visio & PowerPoint
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel - developing and creating complex reports
    • CRM and ERP reporting experience
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Ability to answer a high volume of calls and emails daily
    • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Must be a self-motivated individual with a high level of professionalism and accountability
    • Must have strong time-management and organizational skills
    • 15+ years of supply chain management experience
    • 15+ years customer service experience
    • Strong analytical skills.
    • Decision making and sound judgment
    • Problem-solving, facilitation and negotiating skills 



    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
    • 20+ years industry experience
    • Must have an acceptable driving record and reliable form of transportation

    • Ability to talk on the phone and work with various computer tools and applications
    • Ability to type and compose written communication in various forms
    • Ability to lift 20+lbs on occasion
