In this video, I'll demonstrate external access to the Konica mid-volume A3 machines. A3 means that you can print up to 11”x17” or 12”x18”. This particular machine is configured with an internal finisher and two drawers. You may have an external finisher on the side and an extra paper drawer, or a large capacity on the side. However, the misfeed access points will be the same on all machines, or very similar.

Starting at the top of the feeder, if you have a misfeed, you open that lever. [Here is] another place to have access to your original. [You can] click the green button [to] have easier access to that original, and then just kind of slam it closed.

For the external finisher, and this will be an access point as well, it will be indicated on the touch screen so you know where to go look for the missfeed. It's also where you would change the staple cartridge. If it were empty, it would be here to pull out and change.

Moving down to the toner section: all toners are very simple to change. They just pop out, and a new one pops in its place. They're keyed so you don't have to worry about putting the wrong one into the wrong slot.

These two levers open and pull out the waste toner bottle. It's very simple.

[For] paper drawers: if you're changing to a different size, squeeze the blue lever/arm, snug up against the paper, and the new size will register on the machine.

Let’s move over to the side. Green are access points; they’re very easy to find, and they're labeled. This is also your bypass tray.

Your power switch is right next to it.
