In this video, I'll demonstrate the copy feature on the Kyocera 406CI.

Click on Copy from the touch screen or from the panel. The main window shows your main settings. It's set on Auto Paper Select, or you can select a specific drawer as well as your multi-purpose tray.

Duplexing: the default is one-sided, or you can choose 1 to 2 (1>>2), 2 to 2 (2>>2), 2 to 1 (2>>1), 2 to 2 (2>>2). Combined is a 2-in-1, 4-in-1 feature. [Then there is] your Density, and then Reduction / Enlargement. Most of what you need is on this page. However, you have several other tabs.

The next one is Original Paper and Finishing. It's another way to get to the paper size and select a drawer. Here you have Mixed Originals, so if you have letter and legal [you would use this]. You can set up offset and stapling. Reset always clears back to the default.

The next tab [is] Color and Image Quality Settings. There are many settings in here: Color Selection, Sharpness, Background Density, and Contrast.

Next, Layout and Edit. This again has Zoom and Combine, which you have on the Quick Setup, as well as Duplex. Plus you have some extra features such as Cover Insertion, Form Overlay, Poster, and Image Repeat.

[In] Advanced Setup [there are] more various features such as Mirror Image, File Name Entry, and Continuous Scan. This is commonly used if you have too many originals for your document feeder to exceed the document feeder capacity.

Program is the last tab. This allows you to create a preset for settings that are currently set up for easy retrieval in the future.

Click the Home screen to return to Home.
