In this video, I'll demonstrate Scan to Email on the Kyocera 406CI.

From the home screen, choose Send on the touch panel or from the panel below. The first window is on the Destination tab. Any pre-registered names in the address book will show up here, or you can add a new email address. Next is Quick Setup. Quick Setup has most of the common features. [Here it is] showing that it's on full color for scanning and your resolution is 300 dpi. Click to change. [For] Density, the default is one-sided for scanning. For two-sided originals, click there and choose two-sided. And Continuous Scan: Continuous Scan is for if you have too many originals and they exceed the capacity of the feeder. Turn on Continuous Scan, and you can build your job for one final PDF. And then the PDF quality file format: you can change it to TIFF, JPG, etc. [In] Color / Image Quality, you have some adjustments for your color, background density, contrast, etc. Advanced Setup once again has Continuous Scan, as well as Zoom, and File Name Entry where you can change the file name. Program allows you to set up your current settings into a preset for easy retrieval in the future. Reset clears back to the default. Click the home screen to return to home.
