In this video, I'll demonstrate the Copy function on the Kyocera 408ci.
After placing your originals in the feeder or on the glass, choose Copy from the home screen. On the left, there's a column of sections. The default is the Quick Setup. Whichever one is highlighted will display on the right. The Quick Setup includes the most common features that you will use for a copy: Paper Selection, Zoom, Color or Black and White, One- or Two-sided, Combining Originals, and Stapling.
When you're ready to begin your copies, on the panel click Start. If you need to reset to start over on your settings, just click Reset and the settings will revert back to the default.
Below Quick Setup, you have different sections for the most common features, plus more. For more detailed information, for example, click on Original Paper / Finishing to have more options. In addition to the ones that are listed in Quick Setup, such as Mixed Size Originals, stapling options, Zoom, and Combine options. The Layout / Edit button offers additional options for layout, Border Erase, Margin Adjust, Cover Insertion, etc. You also have Bates Stamp and Text Stamp options.
Below that, Color / Image Quality: [this is where you have the option] to change the type of original for photo, graphics, etc., and more. Advanced Setup just gives you more advanced options. Continuous Scan is a job build feature. Choose Continuous Scan if your originals exceed the capacity of your feeder or if you're building from the glass and the feeder. [Back in Advanced Setup, you’ll find] editing options and more.
