In this video, I'll demonstrate using the Send feature or Scan to Email feature on the Kyocera 408ci.
From the home screen, click on the Send button. As you can see, Destination is the default. Whichever category is highlighted on the left will populate on the right.
To enter a destination, click on Enter destination to manually enter, or click on the address book icon to pull an address that is already registered. You can also add an address; choose Add/Edit. Once you have added an address, you can automatically add that as a One-Touch Destination before completing registration. As you see, I have two here. Click on a One-Touch Destination, and you're ready to send. To send, just click Start.
Below Destination is the Quick Setup. This contains the most common presets: Color Selection, Scan Resolution, Density, changing to two-sided if your original is two-sided, the File Format, and Continuous Scan. Continuous scan is used for building a job if the originals exceed the capacity of the feeder, or if you're scanning from the feeder and the glass.
The arrow down will take you to the next category, or you can choose it on the left. Original / Send has additional features such as Mixed Originals, a Book Original, changing the size, etc. Color Quality has additional settings for Scan Resolution, the Image Type, and Contrast. Advanced Setup has a few additional features such as Zoom and erasing the borders.
To reset your settings, click the Reset button below the panel.
