In this video, I'm going to demonstrate the panel, copying basics, and scan to email basics. Next to the interface, you'll see your keypad: a little house for the home button to return to the home screen, a power button, C for clear and also used for clearing back to default settings, X to stop, and the green button for start.

Let's look at Copy. On the left, you'll have a column that is scrolling. You can scroll up and down in this column to see all of the different features, and then a main window. The main window shows what's currently set up and quick keys to the most common features such as copying from, copying to, size, one-sided to two-sided, and darkness control, as well as scale for auto reduction enlargement.

For example, click on one-sided, which is the default, and here are your duplex options: 1 to 2, 2 to 2, 2 to 1, 2 to 2. There's an arrow back to return to your previous screen. Similar features on the side, plus more: overlay, one-sided to two-sided, collate, cover sheet setup, image editing, and more.

Scan to email has a similar layout with a scrolling list of features on the side, and then a main window for your destination. Click in the To field to add a destination, or click on the address book to pull from the address book, or create a new contact. You can change the subject, message line, and filename as well.

On the feature set, you can see at the very top: color - it's in gray - here's where you can change it to auto color, or color for scanning. Original: the default is one-sided; if you have a two-sided original click on one-sided and it will turn to two-sided. Resolution is currently set for 150. You can go all the way up to 600 DPI. File size, file type - PDF is the most common, and image editing features. Return back. Start button to send your scan.
