In this video, I'll demonstrate external access to the Lexmark XC 4140 or alike XC models in the A4 division. A4 meaning that you can print 8.5” by 11”, up to legal size.

Let's start at the top. If your original misfeeds, just open that lever there. It opens the top of the feeder.

Moving down, if you get a misfeed, it will indicate on the touchscreen where to locate it, and they're labeled. Here's A, here's D. D opens. Green are access points on the Lexmarks. Push that down to open. To close, close the top.

This switch on the right opens up your bypass tray. Just close it.

Behind it is the paper drawer. Lift up and pull out.

Currently, this drawer is set for 8.5” by 11”. If you want to change this paper drawer to legal size - 8.5” by 14” - pinch the green lever and push for legal size.

Let's move over to the side and talk about changing toner. Push up to open the door. And then, here are your four toners. Push one of the green buttons to release the toner and pull out. Click on C, then open the door to remove your waste toner bottle. Then pop a new one in and close.
