In this video, I'll demonstrate external access to the Xerox Altalink series. Starting at the top, your feeder: originals face up. If you get a missfeed, to retrieve the original, you can open this feeder here, or the green lever will open for easy access to the original.

Moving down to change toner, each toner is very easy to change. They just pull out, put a new one in, and they are keyed so you don't have to worry about putting the wrong one in the wrong slot. This is your waste toner bottle, and it's just as easy to change.

Moving down to the paper drawers, the drawers are adjustable up to 11”x17” just by squeezing the green levers, moving the arms, and closing the lever. After setting a new size, it will ask you to confirm on the touchscreen, and you’ll confirm your new size. Tray 2 is the same. Tray 3 and 4 are larger capacity trays: just fill below the max line. 8.5”x11”.

On the side is your exit tray and your bypass tray. Pull on the lever; it says A, to open the side. There's A1 in green for access, and then C is at the very bottom. This is the output for the feeder. To change your staples, if they're empty, they will come out here, and you just pull out the cartridge and insert a new one.
